I am a compassionate, empathetic therapist specializing in supporting individuals and families navigating cancer, chronic illness, and other life-threatening or terminal diagnoses. A serious diagnosis can be overwhelming and destabilizing, and I work alongside clients to help them cope with the emotional, relational, and existential impact of illness.<\/p>\n

I have particular experience working with older adults and seniors who are coping with grief and loss, depression, anxiety, demoralization, and profound feelings of loneliness that often emerge alongside aging, illness, and life transitions. I also support caregivers experiencing burnout, role strain, and caregiver stress as they navigate complex emotional and practical demands.<\/p>\n

My work includes helping clients process anticipatory and cumulative grief, manage uncertainty and fear, and reconnect with sources of meaning, dignity, and purpose during periods of significant change. I provide a safe, affirming space to explore shifts in identity, body image, and self-esteem that often accompany medical treatment, aging, and loss, while also supporting clear, compassionate communication with family and loved ones.<\/p>\n
